What could be the hottest tickets in the Bay Area went on sale Tuesday. The Giants began offering playoff tickets on their website.

The team is in first place, a half game ahead of the San Diego Padres in the National League West.

The Giants open against the Cubs in Chicago Tuesday night.

Only 12 games remain in the regular season, including a final three game series at home against the Padres.

The Giants have not won a world series since 1954. Fans hope this will finally be the team's year.
