Crews fix water main break in Pleasant Hill

For the second time in eight days, crews from the Contra Costa Water District are working to fix a water main break on the same Pleasant Hill pipeline.

Crews have been working since 7:30 Tuesday night to find the source of the leak and repair the main on Morello Avenue near Viking Drive.

Water service was restored by re-routing the water to 40 affected homes.

This morning, the concern is more about traffic as the closure is near four different schools including Diablo Valley College.
