Prior to Travis Credit Union, Eric Maldonado was a Financial Advisor with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network for 7 years, with offices based in San Francisco, Menlo Park, Santa Rosa and Walnut Creek. In 2008 Eric was awarded small business person of the year by the Contra Costa Council.
Eric is Past-President and CEO of the Hispanic Chamber of Contra Costa County and is currently the Director of East County and Chair of the Government Affairs. Eric also serves on the Legislative Committee for the CA Hispanic Chamber and is Past-Chairman of the Clayton Valley YMCA and served on the Board of the Mt. Diablo Region YMCA.
Eric has a passion to better serve the small business community and to promote a higher level of commerce in our community. Also, to protect our businesses from higher cost and taxes implemented by local and state policies. Eric, also believes in promoting higher education and career opportunities to our Youth in technology and science. Eric is Bilingual in English and Spanish and has been a featured speaker for MEDA and ANEWamerica.
Eric was born and raised in San Francisco and currently resides in Concord, CA with his daughter, Hope. In his spare time, Eric enjoys golfing, hiking, baseball, studying the art of Jiu- Jitsu and spending good quality time with his family.
