Some 500 students at a Union City High School will need to be tested for tuberculosis.

Officials say students and staff at James Logan High School may have exposed to TB because someone with the disease was on campus.

School and county health officials stress the mass testing is a precautionary measure.

Tuberculosis usually spreads only after a person has prolonged contact in an enclosed environment with someone who has the disease.
