Sketch released in August assault at Coit Tower

SAN FRANCISCO

At about 1:40 a.m. on Aug. 21, the two victims were approached by a large light-skinned black male who yelled expletives at the pair before punching one of the victims in the jaw with a pair of brass knuckles, police said.

With his jaw broken, the victim was knocked unconscious. When the second victim when to his aid, she was punched in the nose by a second suspect, who then stole her purse.

Both suspects fled the scene with the woman's property.

Police have released an image of one of the suspects, who is described as a 6-foot-1-inch black male weighing 200 pounds. The man has tattoos on his upper left arm and was wearing a black baseball cap, T-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes at the time of the attack.

The second suspect is a black male 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, who wore a dark T-shirt and had close-shaved hair.
