Obama is expected to arrive at San Francisco International Airport on Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m., according to the White House.
Harris is the Democratic nominee for attorney general of California. She is running against Republican Steve Cooley in the Nov. 2 statewide election.
Obama will depart from SFO on Friday.
