The Dr. Pepper-Snapple-7-Up Bottling Group closed the doors to its distribution center on Chestnut Street Monday.
A company spokesperson said the facility was shut down because it no longer met company business needs.
The center's 60 union workers were transferred to other facilities in the area. There was no word on whether jobs would be found for the approximately 30 workers who are not union members.
