Power has been restored to most of the 5,300 PG&E customers in Concord who lost power earlier this afternoon when a car crashed into a power pole, PG&E spokesman Denny Boyles said.

Crews are continuing to work to restore power to the remaining 57 customers and expect to have everybody's lights back on by about 3:45 p.m.

The outage started at about 1 p.m. along Lime Ridge Open Space from Monument Boulevard to Kaski Lane, along San Miguel Road from Cowell Road to Lime Ridge Open Space, and along Cowell Road from Mesa Street to Babel Lane, Boyles said.
