One killed, three injured in Oakland shooting

OAKLAND, Calif.

Police responded to the 1200 block of E. 28th Street at 8:40 p.m. Sunday to investigate the gunfire, Oakland police Officer J. Moore said.

However, the victims - all of whom were men from Oakland - had already left the scene and driven themselves to a local hospital, Moore said.

One of the victims was pronounced dead at the hospital, Moore said. Another of the victims remained there in critical condition as of 2 a.m. Monday, he said.

The other two victims are still in the hospital in stable condition, Moore said.

No arrests have been made in this case. Police have not yet established a motive for the shooting, Moore said.
