See who's on the retail 'Naughty and Nice' list

Consumer Reports has been looking at specific retailing policies and put together its list for Santa -- and consumers.

On the nice list:

  • Zappos.com -- They offer free shipping and returns, including prepaid return labels.
  • L.L. Bean -- They offer 100 percent product satisfaction guarantee. You can return anything at any time for any reason.
  • Southwest Airlines -- They offer free checked luggage.

    • On the naughty list:

  • Verizon Wireless -- They can hit you with a $350 early termination fee for smart-phones.
  • Macy's -- Shipping charges are based on dollar amount of the order, not the size or weight.
  • CompUSA -- There are restocking fees of up to 25 percent.
