Weight Watchers changing popular diet plan

The new program, "Points Plus System" was unveiled online Monday. It will now calculate points based on proteins, carbohydrates, fiber and fat in foods, instead of just calories.

The new system also factors in how hard the body has to work to process food into energy. Fruits and vegetables are zero points to encourage people to eat more of them.

Weight Watchers says the new plan will help people make better choices that allow them to eat more and feel full longer.
