A Southwest Airlines plane has been pulled from service following an emergency landing at Oakland International Airport.

On Monday, the pilot declared an emergency about 25 minutes after taking off when he heard a loud noise from one of the engines. As a precaution, he turned around and landed back in Oakland.

The flight was bound for Las Vegas. None of the 114 passengers onboard was injured.
