Broken meters in SF could cost you a ticket

It is a great feeling when you come across a broken parking meter and an empty space, but now it's time to get over that.

The city of San Francisco will now begin imposing a one-hour limit on parking at a broken meter, then you get a ticket.

Parking at an expired meter costs between $55 and $65.

That's what you'll now pay if you exceed the hour.
