Text messaging has become a part of everyday life for many and unfortunately for some, the habit has had deadly consequences. AT&T released a new documentary and campaign to get drivers to stop texting. One father lost a daughter who was reading a text while driving.

"The first thing I noticed about her was her shoes, lying in the roadway in a large pool of blood. She was going to graduate the next day. It's sad, it's just sad," said a sheriff's officer in the documentary "It Can Wait."

"You are 23 times more likely to get into an accident if you are texting and driving. We don't want anyone to use our technology unless they're safe," says Vice President of AT&T Gail Torreano.

AT&T hopes its campaign will change habits and save lives.
