Giffords' shooter posted videos on YouTube

TUSCON, Ariz.

The videos mostly feature text on a background. In one, Loughner described inventing a new U.S. currency and complained about the illiteracy rate among people living in Giffords' congressional district.

Loughner also had a MySpace page that was taken down minutes after he was identified as the alleged gunman. It included a mysterious "Goodbye friends" message published hours before the shooting, and asked his friends, "Please don't be mad at me."
