The San Mateo County Transit District is seeking feedback from customers about its bus service, a district spokeswoman said.

Nearly 45,000 people ride SamTrans on an average weekday and authorities are seeking their input, spokeswoman Tasha Bartholomew said.

Starting today through Jan. 28, customers can take a brief survey online at, Bartholomew said.

The survey was created to determine the best way to deliver information to customers and to understand their reasons for riding the countywide bus system.

Participants will be entered in a drawing to win one of two SamTrans monthly passes by filling out the optional information at the end of the survey, Bartholomew said.

There is only one chance per customer to win the drawing.
