Fresno judge says handgun ammo limit is unconstitutional

The law was set to take effect February first.

But the judge ruled that it would have created uncertainty by forcing gun shops to decide what type of bullets were covered by the restrictions.

The law also would have required ammunition to be bought in person.

Gun advocates applaud the ruling, saying the law would not have stopped Tucson shooting suspect Jared Loughner.
