Skimming device found at Chase Bank ATM

Chase Bank is warning Bay Area ATM users to check their statements. The bank confirms that a skimming device was found attached to an ATM at its Terra Linda branch.

The device records customers' bank account info and personal ID numbers is most often found at ATM machines and gas stations.

Chase says the thieves withdrew money from customers' accounts just after Martin Luther King weekend. The bank has replaced the money, and is asking customers to report any suspicious activity.
