Firefighters extinguish 2-alarm blaze in Walnut Creek

Firefighters put out a two-alarm blaze tonight at an office building in Walnut Creek, a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District dispatcher said.

The fire was reported at about 8:05 p.m. at 1840 San Miguel Drive, the dispatcher said. It was controlled about 45 minutes later.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage it caused were not yet known tonight, the dispatcher said.
