At about 5:20 a.m., police responded to the 1100 block of Terilyn Avenue, near U.S. Highway 101, on a report of a disturbance.
Officers arrived at the scene and discovered that a woman had been stabbed. She was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
