Two men entered a home on Sparrow Court in south Healdsburg, assaulted a 56-year-old man and left abruptly Wednesday night, Healdsburg police said.

The suspects were wearing ski masks but appeared to be white males between 15 and 19 years old, Healdsburg police Sgt. John Haviland said. One had a gun that might have been a replica firearm, Haviland said.

There were three adults between 29 and 56 years old and three children under age 18 at the home when the suspects entered through an unlocked door around 8 p.m., Haviland said.

When one of the adults ran out of the house, the two suspects fled, Haviland said.

Home invasion robbers typically are looking for money or drugs but the suspects did not say what they wanted, and the residents told officers there were no drugs or money in the house, Haviland said.
