Man dies after shooting Wednesday night

SAN JOSE, Calif.

Police responded to the intersection of Berryessa Road and Lundy Avenue at around 9:10 p.m. Wednesday on reports of a disturbance involving a weapon, Sgt. Jason Dwyer said.

At around 9:20 p.m. a man arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound and police determined that the two incidents were related, Dwyer said.

The man died at the hospital at 1:14 a.m.

A suspect had not been identified as of 1:45 a.m. and no further information regarding the incident was immediately available.

The incident is under investigation by the San Jose Police Department's homicide unit, Dwyer said.
