A group of little leaguers in Southern California was supposed to fly to Tokyo this week for a tournament with Japanese players. Instead of getting a refund, they decided to donate their airfare so the Japanese players could come here.

The little leaguers from Japan arrived in Los Angeles yesterday. It's their first trip to California. They will be staying with local families so they won't face any out-of-pocket expenses.

Youngsters say in addition to the games, the two teams plan to spend time hanging out off the field and learning all they can from each other.
