PG&E patched a gas main break in San Francisco's Western Addition on Wednesday.

A construction crew struck the two-inch main just before noon, at Bush and Steiner Streets, near St. Dominic's Church.

The break cut off service to about 50 homes and businesses.

PG&E workers patched the leak around 1:30. They went door to door, relighting pilot lights.
