San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee says web browser maker Mozilla is opening an office in the city.

The non-profit will move into the Hills Plaza building on Harrison Street with 125 paid staff and volunteers. The company makes the popular Firefox browser.

The CEO of Mozilla says the company is targeting the San Francisco office as a key location for Bay Area software communities to gather and collaborate.
