About 20,000 residents have been facing low water pressure and dirty looking water ever since a 36-inch water pipe along foster road broke Tuesday night.
The line delivers water from the Jameson Canyon Treatment Plant to the city.
Officials say the brown colored water is caused by sediment found in the back-up pipes that are now being used to deliver water.
