The plaintiffs complain that CNN fails to provide captioning for the online videos on its website.
The suit was filed in Alameda County Superior Court by a disability rights center in Berkeley and an Oakland law firm.
CNN issued a short statement Wednesday saying it has not yet been served with the lawsuit so it has no comment.
