Berkeley police look for injured prowler

Berkeley police are asking for help finding a man who was seriously injured while running from officers.

Early Wednesday morning, a woman reported a man prowling outside her window in the 2200 block of Dwight Way.

When police approached the suspect, he ran and partially impaled his leg scaling a fence.

The suspect is described as a black man between 19 and 22 years-old, 6'0", between 185-195 lbs., wearing a hooded t-shirt.

Police say he has puncture wounds to his left calf and thigh.
