A U.S. Navy dive team is now in Mexico and could begin searching for seven California fishermen missing in the Sea of Cortez and the capsized boat they were last seen in.

As of Monday, it had been eight days since the fishing boat flipped over in the stormy conditions, killing one man and sending 35 others into the sea.

Most of the men were rescued, but seven remain missing.

Navy divers will try to determine if the bodies of the seven missing men are still inside the boat, which is on the sea floor about 200 feet below water.

U.S. and Mexican search teams have already looked across 4,600 square miles without finding a trace of the missing men.
