City attorney Dennis Herrera says he's seeking more than $100,000 from CBS Outdoor, Inc. for paint damages caused by applying and removing advertisement displays.
Herrera's office provided ABC7 News with several photos, which show extensive paint and some physical damage to the Muni buses.
The city attorney's office says the suit comes after multiple efforts to resolve the claim by city officials.
ABC7 News tried to contact CBS Outdoor, Inc. for comment on Sunday but nobody was available.
