A three-alarm fire burned at a Sacramento recycling plant on Wednesday.

The fire began just after 1 p.m. at the River City Waste Recyclers.

Officials say it looks like it was started in a pile of tires and quickly spread to nearby construction waste materials.

Crews are expected to be on the scene for several more hours.
