Police: Three arrested after boat burglary

PETALUMA, Calif.

Police responded to a call that the three men had cut the gate lock on the business located on the 100 block of Stony Point Road and arrived to find Jonathan White, 31, Craig Travis, 41 and Jason Deangelo, 41 attempting to hitch a boat and trailer to their truck.

White and Deangelo are residents of Petaluma, and Travis is a resident of Oakdale.

When police arrived, they observed the three men discarding drugs and paraphernalia under their truck. Police searched the truck and found more drugs as well as the tools used to cut the lock on the gate.

Police found methamphetamine, OxyContin and other precription drugs, and hypodermic needles. They arrested all three men for possession of drugs, trespassing, and possession of burglary tools.

They were booked into Sonoma County Jail. Deangelo and Travis are being held for $10,000 bail, while White cannot post bail because he was already on parole.
