Ethan Chazin was downsized after working 23 years in the corporate world. Instead of looking for new ways to rejoin the rat race, the Hoboken man created a job boot camp for others.
Chazin says the best way to land a job is to do things the old-fashioned way.
"The greatest downfall of most people who need my services is they spend all day in front of the computer," Chazin said. "They're reactionary, they're introverted and they'd rather communicate with a computer. That doesn't work."
Chazin's main advice is this: Don't depend on job boards to get work.
Chazin also suggests concentrating on companies you want to work for, and find ways to meet prospective employers face-to-face.
