The decoy operation involved two 18-year-olds who worked with the Sonoma police department. They were sent to 10 different tasting rooms and were served alcohol at four of them.
Employees at Valley of the Moon Winery, BR Cohn Winery, Imagery Estate Winery and, Schug Winery were cited and fined for serving alcohol to the underage drinkers. The wineries will now be referred to the department of alcoholic beverage control for further sanctions.
