Southern California fire crews are making progress this morning in their fight against two major wildfires.

A 350-acre blaze destroyed a home and three small buildings on a ranch in the San Bernardino National Forest. It also created a traffic nightmare, as several lanes of I-15 were shut down. That fire is expected to be fully contained by Tuesday night.

A 125-acre fire in Riverside County will likely be fully contained Tuesday morning. Fifty homes had been evacuated. The fire was started by someone who was welding.
