36-year-old Jason Cook has worked for an Applebee's in Federal Way, Washington, for three years. He likes his job, but he has a problem with a new company policy that prohibits employees from making negative comments about the restaurant on Facebook.
Cook says he has been told he could be fired for not signing an agreement. He says he has no intention of saying anything against Applebee's, but feels there might be many ways to view "negative comments."
For example, he is worried he will be blamed for something someone else writes on his Facebook wall.
