SFPD injure two bystanders Friday evening
SAN FRANCISCO The incident happened shortly after 2 a.m. on Broadway and Montgomery Streets in San Francisco. Officers were attempting to take a wanted person into custody when he pulled out a weapon and ran from police.
Officers shot in the direction of the suspect but wound up wounding two bystanders instead.
The suspect is now in custody. Police say they have his weapon, but they wouldn't elaborate on the type of weapon that was recovered.
Police also aren't saying how many officers fired their guns or how many shots were fired.
