On September 13, Vice Mayor Mike Kelly slapped Councilwoman Carolyn Ford's hand after Ford lifted her hand towards Kelly and shushed him.
Kelly said the slap came after a contentious five hour council meeting. The vice mayor has apologized. Today the Marin County district attorney said it will conduct a citation hearing in lieu of filing criminal charges against the vice mayor.
