According to the San Jose Mercury-News, Mindy Freile filed the lawsuit Wednesday in San Francisco Superior Court. In the lawsuit, Freile alleged the pitcher illegally returned to the apartment after the lease had expired and broke, stained and defaced furniture.
Some of the items reported damaged included kitchenware, linens, appliances and art.
The Mercury-News reports Lincecum's lawyer called the lawsuit "unwarranted." The Giants would not comment.
