Bank employees called police after Occupy Santa Rosa protestors entered the bank at 200 B St. and began disrupting operations by chanting and beating a drum. The protestors refused to leave when management asked them to, Lt. John Noland said.
Police told the protestors that refusal to leave could result in arrest for trespassing and possibly disturbing the peace. Three people were arrested and booked into Sonoma County Jail after they refused to comply.
Cory James Lynch, 23, of Santa Rosa, was charged with disturbing the peace, wearing a mask during commission of a crime, resisting and interfering with a police officer and felony violation of probation.
Jasmine De La Torre, 18, of Healdsburg, was charged with disturbing the peace, trespassing and resisting and interfering with a police officer.
Prahlada Papper, 33, of Sonoma County, was charged with trespassing.
Bank officials closed the bank after the incident and told police they were not certain if they would reopen that day.
