A passenger had to stand during a seven-hour flight because a morbidly obese man sitting next to him made it impossible for him to hook up his seatbelt. Arthur Berkowitz was flying from Anchorage to Philadelphia on U.S. Airways.
The plane was full, so he had to stand for the entire flight, including take-off and landing.
U.S. Airways offered Berkowitz $200, but he wants his entire $800 ticket refunded.
