The crash happened in front of 26320 Mission Blvd. and was reported at about 11:10 a.m., fire Capt. Thor Poulsen said this afternoon.
The crash, which involved a Chrysler minivan, occurred in front of the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery driveway, which is near Moreau High School.
Poulsen said that the vehicle's airbags had deployed.
The driver was transported to Eden Hospital in good condition, Poulsen said.
Hayward police units also responded to the crash and diverted traffic that had been stopped on northbound Mission Boulevard, Poulsen said.
