Divers were out this morning assessing the damage and cleaning-up after an oil spill from a sinking tugboat near Richmond.

The decommissioned Navy tug first started sinking and leaking black oil into the water yesterday. Coast Guard officials think at least 300 gallons have leaked. But, believe most of it has been contained. They've placed a boom around nearby Brook's Island as a precaution to protect wildlife and Coast Guard officials say no wildlife has been affected, so far. Officials don't know what's causing the ship to sink.
