This past weekend, 84-year-old Doris saw her 87-year-old brother Richard for the first time since 1931. They tracked each other down earlier this year, but health issues prevented them from meeting sooner.
They talked on the phone continuously for months until Richard was able to make the trek from his Connecticut home to see her in Maine.
Richard was seven and Doris was four when the two were sent to separate homes after their mother died.
Neither says they're angry about the lost years. They say they actually feel blessed because they're a family again for the first time in decades.
