The CHP reported shortly before 7 a.m. that D Street was closed between San Antonio Road and Windsor Drive because of a crash in which a vehicle struck a power pole.
Live wires were down in the roadway, but no injuries were reported.
The CHP did not have an estimate for when the road would reopen and advised motorists to use U.S. Highway 101 as an alternate route.
