A leading medical researcher may lose his job after falsifying research on the benefits of drinking red wine.

This comes after the University of Connecticut found Doctor Dipak Das either falsified or fabricated data 145 times over a 7-year period. Das has gained attention for his work examining the medical benefits of Resveratrol, a compound found in red wine.

UConn has also notified nearly a dozen scientific journals which have published his work.
