One Honda belonging to a Recreation and Parks employee caught on fire around 9 p.m. That was near the Bandshell in the park.
About an hour later, a Recreation and Parks truck went up in a ball of flames in a parking lot between Kezar Stadium and the park police station. An officer reported seeing an explosion lift the truck into the air.
Investigators are looking for any evidence that might connect the two fires.
