United Airlines says it will shut down its operation at Oakland International in June.

The airline has been at Oakland International for 75 years but it says the 11 flights a week to Denver were no longer profitable.

The 39 United employees are being offered jobs at other airports. The airline will continue to operate flights out of SFO and Mineta San Jose.
