The figures were at first clay in Lord's movies, now they are silicone. The figures move, talk, show expression in the time-consuming process of stop motion.
"The Pirates" is based on a book series and there may be a second film, but based on this one, it will take time.
"The Pirates: Band Of Misfits" is in theatres April 27.
