Warning issued about takeover of vacant SF buildings

San Francisco police are asking property owners to board up and fence-in vacant buildings to prevent any potential takeover from occupy protesters.

The warning comes after dozens of protesters were arrested two weeks ago for taking over a vacant Turk Street building owned by the Archdiocese of San Francisco. They caused thousands of dollars damage.

The San Francisco Examiner reports rumors are swirling about a May 1 takeover of an undisclosed property.
